Flashbird Air: battery life up to 10 times longer

Flashbird Air is designed for long battery life, with no wiring to the vehicle battery. Some of you still saw it drain faster than usual. We identified the problem, and the fix is already in place.

Up to 10 times longer

After this fix, your Flashbird Air battery can last up to 10 times longer than it did while the issue was present. GPS tracking, anti-theft alerts and, if you have one, the SmartKey still work as usual. This also applies to Flashbird Air for bicycle, which uses the same device.

You do not need to do anything

We send the fix to your Flashbird Air remotely. If the battery is already low, simply recharge the device with the USB-C cable supplied and a 5 V charger, then let battery life return to a normal pace.

What battery life should I expect afterwards?

Flashbird Air is still rated for up to 12 months on standby and up to 3 months with active tracking, depending on use. Real-world battery life varies with alerts, network coverage and how you ride. Battery level remains visible in the app.
